9:15 - 10:15am Keynote Address - Lindsay Chase-Lansdale: "Expanding Opportunities for Parents and Children Simultaneously: Two-Generation Education Programs"
Two-generation programs serving parents and children simultaneously are not new, but there is renewed interest and significant program expansion across the nation. In this talk, Chase-Lansdale will focus on two-generation programs that intentionally connect education and job training programs for parents with high quality early education for their young children. Chase-Lansdale will also highlight the theories and research behind "Two-Gen 2.0" programs and engage with representatives of local two-generational efforts that aim to expand the life opportunities for children and parents. The results shared will showcase opportunities for innovation and collaboration to better support the success of children and parents together.
